you base a price check on current maket value not on what you would pay for it. end of. its worth 600k plus to any person wanting to buy one fairly.

Last post and I promise I'll forget this thread. 2 days ago that guy/girl PChecked 2 bows, a storm and a shadow. 1 was +15% -1 nrg reg and the other +15% -1 health reg. He thought the negative condition was due to a vampiric and a zealous string and could be replaced. So, he/she just doesn't know about the mechanics of the game and therefore prices of items but still posts in here misleading users. When he realize he's wrong he comes up with an excuse like 'i said what it's worth to me' but that's a pathetic lie. Admit when you don't know things, don't come up with excuses and don't post if you don't know what we're talking about. End.

Selective, repetitive, not end of.

Like I said, I can get 100k for a low damage high req fiery dragon sword, doesn't mean to me it's worth it, so in a price check. Since I know it'll sell for that, in the current market. I should price check for that. Show me the price check rules please. We all seem to have different opinions about things.

Current market value? Bleh, people will pay different prices everywhere. No one gets to decide what fair is either.

That could easily be read quickly and you'd get 2+2=5. Doesn't mean he/she doesn't know about zealous strings. Plus, even if she didn't know about them. Doesn't matter. You can know one thing, but not know another

okay elektra since you are being an arse. a price check is based on a number of factors. you have to take into account the rarity of the item. the desirability of the item. when doing this the desirability is based on the majority and not the minority's opinion. therefore a +30hp -2 stance eternal is very very rare. the eternal skin is also highly desirable. people then bid on the item and when the person wins the community see's the price as what the item is worth. it may not be perfect but is a good indication. it may go for less or more next time but the price is then altered accordingly. not once in the process of price checking an item is an individuals own opinion taken into account as this would be ignoring what the majority believe. heck dwarven axes are hideous to me but it does not mean i would price check a req 8 15>50 one at 100k as the majority find it a highly desirable skin. the sheer rarity, desirablity and previous sale of them would lead one to the conclusion that it should sell for 1000 ectos.

our friend above has ignored the rarity of the item, he has ignored the majority's view of them. he has based it on one thing and that is his own view of the item and its skin. this has led him to make a highly inaccurate price check.
